When you visit Korea, one of the place you cannot miss is the palace. Korea palace was following the Chinese traditional architecture method to build. Since they are the associated countries of China, they cannot build the same standard of the Chinese palace. Such as using the Dragon and Phoenix pattern as the decorating items. Size of the palace is also need to be smaller than Chinese palace.
Because of their culture is affected by Chinese, therefore a lot of people who are older than age 50 would understand the Chinese characters, but sometime the meaning of the characters may be different.
Because they are also asian, my face is not much different from them, I have some experiences that the Korean ask me about the road or trying to talk with me in Korean.
